Welcome to Realms of Gold, Inc. I create huggable, one of a kind cloth dolls and puppets based on traditional folk and fairytale characters from around the globe. Made of fine yarns and fabrics, the dolls and puppets are as happy telling stories in a classroom, sleeping in a three year old's arms, or sitting on a collector's shelf. Many of the dolls are reversible. For instance, the frog turns over to reveal a prince, or Cinderella goes from rags to riches. Multisided dolls actually date back to the U.S. Civil War. The dolls on these pages are based on my original, copyrighted patterns.

Based on a fairy tale found in both the Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault’s collections, Little Red Riding Hood is one of the classic multisided dolls, dating back to the early 20th century. She is approximately 12" tall. Variations of this doll can now be found all over the globe. My pattern is of my own design, based on a doll I still have from my childhood.
Red Riding Hood is three dolls in one. Turn her over to reveal Grandma, then turn Grandma around and pull down her bonnet to reveal the wolf. She comes with a copy of her story in a small handmade book. Colors for Grandma's dress may vary. Please specify any preferences when you place your order.
