 Storytelling Presentations and Sources

The fact that all of my dolls are based on folk and fairy tale characters is no coincidence.  I have loved stories my entire life and my house is filled with books as well as dolls.  I once said if there had never been a book, I would have had shelves filled with statues based on oral stories, and now I have both!

My dolls are just one way that I share the stories that I love.  I also share them as a storyteller.  If you've seen me at a craft show or conference, then you know that I am almost incapable of showing a doll without telling his or her story.  I have actually been telling stories professionally (first as a librarian, then as a doll artist) since the early 1990s.  I go out to private and public  groups at libraries, schools, and homes to tell stories.  I offer three storytelling programs (listed below).  Each storytelling session lasts approximately 1 hour and is geared towards the age of the audience.  Storytelling presentations are $75 plus travel expenses. Please call 650-996-2280 or e-mail Storytelling to schedule.
