Where's the Shopping Cart?

I am slowly adding a shopping cart to the site. You will see the buttons on some pages, and at the top of the home page. If there isn't a cart yet for the doll or stuffed animal that you like, simply call 650-996-2280 or email Realms of Gold. You can still pay online, via PayPal or Google Checkout. And this way, you can let me know not only what character you want, but also what clothing, what hair, what eyes, what skin... every little detail can be customized, because every doll is made to order.

So, how do I place a custom order?

Each of our dolls and puppets is a unique creation.  While you are welcome to purchase an exact character pictured on these pages, or their identical twin, most customers prefer to personalize their purchase by selecting doll style, skin tone, hair, facial features, and clothing.  To order a personalized doll or a twin of a doll on our web site, please consider the following options, then call us at 650-996-2280 to place your order.  Alternatively, you may e-mail your order to us at Realms of Gold and we will contact you for specific details.  We accept Discover, Visa, Master Card, checks and money orders.  We also accept and Google Checkout. Dolls and puppets usually ship within two to three weeks of receipt of payment. 

 

How to order a personalized a doll based on an existing doll or puppet design (one you saw on our website):

• Choose a doll or puppet. Check out some special one of a kind dolls here.
• Choose a format (hand puppet, double sided doll, pouch doll, etc.)
• Choose a skin tone:

  Muslin

  Peach

  Coffee

  Chocolate

• Choose a general color scheme. Would you like blue clothes, pink clothes, purple clothes? We will work with you to choose specific fabrics and patterns when you call.
• Choose facial features:  drawn or plastic eyes, sewn or drawn nose.  Don't forget to select eye colors.
• Choose hair color and style:  long or short, straight or curly, pony tail(s), braids or loose.
• Contact us by phone (650) 996-2280 or e-mail us at Realms of Gold to place your order.  We will create a detailed description of your doll, calculate the total cost (including shipping and handling and tax if applicable) and provide you with a purchase order number and shipping date.  Dolls usually cost the same as their base character on the doll and puppet pages.  For instance, any regular Little Red Riding Hood is $50 plus tax and s&h.  Any Apple Child is $16 plus tax and s&h.  All payments and ship dates are confirmed by e-mail.

Shipping: Most dolls ship via Fedex Ground or UPS Ground.  Shipping is $8.50 for the first doll and $3 for each additional doll or puppet.  All shipments are insured.  We provide you with tracking information via e-mail upon shipment.  For overnight or overseas shipping, please contact us directly.  Alternatively, if you live nearby you can always pick up your doll in person at our Los Altos studio.

Tax:  California residents will be charged appropriate sales tax.
